- 2013: Expert assesment at CIHEAM-IAMM (International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies) - Montpellier (3 mois) Albania (3 mois) - Analysis forests and pastures land tenure (property and users rights) in 3 municipalities of the North of Albania and the institutional process of devolution using an interview-based approach
- 2012: Assistant at IWMI (International Water Management Institute) - Vientiane, Laos (3 mois) - Socio-economic analysis of a relocation site post dam construction. Identifying village issues and livelihood opportunities.
Research
My research is structured around two topics:
- the nature of actors' interactions in the process of setting uf the environmental policy. I wonder about the definition of the environmental issue, and the role of science stakeholders in the highlight of certain territories in environmental agenda. By analyzing the scientific fact, I question the place of island spaces in biodiversity conservation policies. My research, built in immersion in an operational structure for the conservation of biodiversity, focuses mainly on small islands and islets in the western Mediterranean basin.
- rural land tenure with an approach by the commons. The topic of land tenure to be questioned in relation to the practices, uses and management of land and resources has interested me for several years. Analyzing land tenure is a possible point to ask the environmental issue. I wonder about the diversity of practices and uses in Albanian pastoral spaces with regard to the political history of this country. Land tenure regimes are constantly negotiated between actors according to a pannel of rules and standards, agricultural productions and the nature of resources.
